Introduction
Plastics Protect was established in January 2000 to offer an exclusive insurance program designed to meet the growing needs and objectives of the plastics, tool & die and  mould making industry. With offices in Newmarket ON, Edmonton AB, and Vancouver BC, Plastics Protect is able to insure Canada's plastics and tool & die industry from coast to coast.

Plastics Protect is a division of Benson, Kearley & Associates, an insurance broker established in 1969. For over 35 years Benson, Kearley & Associates have provided a wide range of insurance and financial products to individual and corporate clients. Our distinguished reputation with worldwide insurance carriers allows us the strength necessary to consistently deliver the highest level of service expected by our corporate clientele.
Assets
A firm's best assets are their staff members. Plastics Protect is engineered and serviced by our technical staff led by our Mechanical Plastics Engineering specialist, Tim deGroot. Tim has over 17 years "hands-on" plastics experience gained through working relationships with international companies such as Magna International and T.R.W. Tim's knowledge of the industry allows him to look deep into your operations from a technical view point, and assess and locate risk factors which might go undetected by a broker without his industry working knowledge.
